Relationships Australia Tasmania (RA Tas) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader based within the Corporate Services team in Hobart.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position has two broad areas of responsibility consisting of financial management and facilities management. The position will assist CFO in all aspects accounting, finance, and risk management functions including overseeing the day to day operations of the Finance and Payroll Team.

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role and be a degree qualified candidate who is currently undertaking or completed CPA studies.  In addition, the successful applicant will need to be a highly motivated individual with outstanding communication skills and experience in managing business systems.

To be successful in this role you will have,

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting or substantial progress towards completion of Commerce or Accounting degree
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of financial services and systems to a medium sized organisation including experience in financial and annual reporting and budget development, including experience in monitoring and analysing financials and budgets for variances and improved forecasting
  • Previous experience and / or demonstrated ability to configure, manage business systems, including extracting and analysing data
  • Well-developed organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with people in competing demands
  • Ability to develop and review processes for improvement with an eye for detail
